Job Details: Customer Service Representative-Sales Full Time Class Start Date: November 24, 2008 Licensed Position: P& C Training Provided Training Schedule: Monday-Friday: 9:00am-5:45pm (training will last approximately 12 weeks) Work Schedule: Monday-Friday: Start times between 9:00am to 9:45am * Schedule subject to change. You must complete and pass the Property and Casualty License requirements during training in order to remain in the position. Two weeks of licensing training is included in the 12 weeks of training provided by Progressive Insurance. Position Summary: This position provides customers with an exceptional buying experience. The Direct Customer Sales Rep Associate spends 90 percent of their time handling telephone calls from prospective and existing customers regarding insurance rates and policies. Uses computerized system to track, gather information, and answer customer inquiries. Identifies customer insurance needs and works to meet those needs using appropriate sales tools and product offerings. Attends and participates in weekly team meetings. Makes a positive first impression and promoting/selling Progressive's products.
