WHAT ARE THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION?Develops all risk management policies for account underwriting, initial credit line assignment, and ongoing risk management activities Assists in the development of risk criteria for marketing programs, products offered, and portfolio profiles Coordinates marketing activities in order to target and capture profitable customers Develops reporting for credit card losses and profitability through use of account management systems Works with statistical modeling group to develop and implement decision models and tools where appropriate Forecasts delinquencies and losses to support provisioning and all other risk management processes

WHAT KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS ARE NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION?Assists in the development of financial justification for investments (marketing programs, equipment, etc.) Applies basic understanding of financial institutions and products Participates on project teams. May occasionally lead a project or portions of a project Works with minimal guidance and may have some latitude for independent decisions/recommendations Uses extensive knowledge of quantitative disciplines and programming May train, mentor, and provide peer-level oversight

ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONKey Job Responsibilities-
Develop recommendations and strategy for direct mail campaigns and overall customer strategy management based on statistical analysis and results from testing.
Work with Marketing and other groups to develop the risk strategies, customer segments, and decision models for targeted marketing programs.
Prepare forecasts for revenue performance indicators on an ongoing basis to support credit card management processes.



Programming skills required - particularly skills with SAS or other statistical language.
Ability to work well with quantitative information.
Strong oral and written communication skills used to convey complex analytical results.
Ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
Bachelors or Masters Degree in a quantitative major including statistics, economics, finance, or operations research.
