Liberty Mutual Group today employs over 41,000 people in more than 900 offices throughout the world.Advance Your Career at Liberty Mutual - A Fortune 100 Company!   Responsibilities: In this role you will: Conference Center Associate Coordinator will work closely with internal clients to plan, schedule and implement basic meetings held in the Boston Conference Center.  In addition candidate will provide auxiliary support services, which include Audio Visual set-up, Dining Services, and Room set-ups.    Provide an outstanding level of customer service designed to exceed the goals and objectives of each client using the facility.  The Coordinator’s ability to anticipate client’s needs ahead of time will ensure success. Use “RESERVE” a web-based application to manage space.  Critical elements of success will rely on the ability to interpret information and engage meeting planner as needed.  Follow all guidelines as it relates to conference room protocols, policy and procedures and escalate issues to senior members of the team when they arise. Deliver audio-visual equipment to meetings as required.  Equipment includes flip charts; TV/VCR; LCD projectors; satellite phones; microphones, remote control and PC hook-ups.  Candidate will facilitate each delivery by connecting, testing and troubleshooting as needed.  Assistant Coordinator will provide instruction to meeting host on use of equipment. Production, distribution and follow up on all reports associated with conference room activity.  This includes VDM (Daily Meeting Announcement) Daily Meeting Log, and Equipment Log.  Confirmation of all meeting activity in the Boston and Dover Conference Center the day before each scheduled meeting.  Maintain conference room space as well a personal work area.  Qualifications: Associate degree preferred with several years of customer service background. Must have a technical aptitude and an interest in learning new technology.  In addition, strong interpersonal and intrapersonal skills are required.  Must be able to problem solve and multi-task.  Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.  Word, Excel and Power Point are essential.Benefits: We recognize that talented people are attracted to companies that provide competitive pay, comprehensive benefits packages and outstanding advancement opportunities.
