Commercial Lines Underwriter
We represent a highly rated insurance industry leader steeped in tradition and service for many years located in the Cedar Rapids area. We are searching for a commercial lines underwriter and leader who will be responsible for evaluating risks in managing a book of business. Occasionally some travel outside of the office will be required when visiting with agents and inspecting certain exposures.
Desired qualifications: Four year college degree desired or equivalent work experience Minimum of one but prefer three years commercial lines underwriting Highly developed communication skills Strong leader in building relationships and team development Willing to pursue appropriate insurance designations This is a highly visible position with the opportunity for growth and advancement.
