Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative

Jack Rice Insurance is currently seeking an organized and warm team player for our Commerical Lines CSR position.  Minimum 3 years Commercial insurance experience required including a 4-40 or 2-20 license. 



Salary plus benefits. (Health, FSA, HRA, Simple IRA and Ancillary Products 



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Check to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers' problems.

Complete contract forms, prepare change of address records, and issue service discontinuance orders, using computers.

Confer with customers by telephone or in person in order to provide information about products and services, to take orders or cancel accounts, or to obtain details of complaints.

Contact customers in order to respond to inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results and any planned adjustments.

Determine charges for services requested, collect deposits or payments, and/or arrange for billing.

Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.

Prepare finance agreement contract

Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation.

Review insurance policy terms in order to determine whether a particular loss is covered by insurance.

Solicit sale of new or additional services or products.

4-40 or 2-20 license

Good organizational and communication skills

Commercial insurance coverage knowledge

Problem solving skills

Proficient computer knowledge

Ability to multi-task

Accuracy and detail oriented

EDUCATION and/or WORK EXPERIENCE

Commercial Lines 220 or 440 license, Working knowledge of insurance rating and coverages,

Basic computer skills – working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft applications, knowledge of AMS software a plus, Good organization and communication skills, able to work with deadlines and handle multiple tasks at same time.

Minimum 3 years experience in Commercial insurance industry.
