Employee Benefits Account Manager
The Employee Benefit division of VIST Insurance has a career opportunity for a Employee Benefits Account Manager at our Blue Bell office. In this position you will work with clients to clearly define objectives for their Employee Benefits Package. We provide an in-depth analysis of current plan design, pricing, cost sharing and network access. We also assist clients with administration solutions plus offer complete compliance audits.
Duties for this position include:
Assists Consultant in gathering necessary information regarding new and existing client benefit plansSubmits information in RFP format to various carriers to obtain proposalsReviews proposals from carriers for accuracy and completeness and coordinates adjustments as necessary with carriersPrepares client spreadsheets, reports, and PowerPoint presentations as neededConduct client presentations and training on value-added tools and resourcesAssist in developing client benefits strategy and coordinating the workflow between the benefits department staff, clients and insurance carriersMaintain awareness of legal developments and/or changes with regulations related to insurance carriers and Federal and State laws
What You Offer:
A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred but not required Current Life & Health Insurance license Superior communication skills Knowledge of employee benefits issues necessary to effectively communicate with clients, insurance carriers and prospects concerning employee benefit lines of coverageProficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel is required, basic working knowledge of Power Point preferred Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret insurance contracts and terminology, data, renewal proposals and claim utilization reports A valid driver’s license and access to an automobile for business purposes Five years of experience in related position including managing client accounts in an employee benefits environment
