Client Relations Manager

MEDEX Global Group, Inc. ( http://www.medexassist.com/  ) is a recognized leader in emergency travel assistance and international medical insurance. Providing quality services to millions of members and hundreds of global organizations, MEDEX provides peace of mind to travelers and those who care about them.

Primary Purpose: 

 

Establish and maintain sound business relationships with key personnel at assigned client companies.  Serve as the key MEDEX contact to assure our ability to provide responsive, high-quality services.  Work with assigned clients to optimize the growth and profitability of each account.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

1.  Client Relationships:  Establish sound relationships and regular contact with assigned client personnel.  Create an openness with those personnel that encourages them to share any issues or concerns with you, understanding that you are their advocate for solving problems and assuring that we provide services that best meets their particular needs.

 

2.  Problem Avoidance & Solving:  Keep others within MEDEX fully informed of issues and situations that effect client satisfaction and that affect our internal departments’ ability to perform their functions.  Liaise with both clients and internal departments to solve problems and improve communications and services.

 

3.  Data Management:  Assure that data maintained on clients and their programs are accurate, up-to-date, timely, and accessible to internal departments.  This includes maintaining case handling instructions, client contact information, enrollment data, and other information relevant to service delivery; securing client contracts; and providing the Pricing Team with the information necessary to perform accurate renewal underwriting/profitability management.

 

4.  Business Building:  Gain customer commitment to MEDEX products.  Seek product enhancements, introduce new products, and seek to add coverage to additional lives in order to increase revenue and profitability of each account.  Secure additional revenue growth of the account in accordance with annual company goals.

 

Qualifications/Knowledge/Skill/Licensure

 

1)  Ability to function effectively as a client advocate, while representing the best interests of the company.

 

2)  Strong written and oral communication skills.

 

3)  Strong interpersonal & listening skills

 

4)  Strong problem solving skills

 

5)  Strong presentation skills and persuasiveness

 

6)  Ability to work independently

 

7)  Ability to travel (approx. 3 days/nights per month)

 

8)  Computer skills to include: Word, Excel, Power Point, Access or related software.

 

9)  Knowledge of the assistance business a plus

 

10)  Insurance industry experience a plus
