We are seeking an experienced and motivated candidate to manage all day-to-day Claims operations in an environment with expanding services and great potential for growth and opportunity. Manage a group of Claims Associates and Claims Administrative Assistants involved in the mortgagee claims process. Management oversight for Texas office. Includes development of process, procedures, control, reporting, monitoring of performance and results. Assist with development and/or performance management of employees in order to maximize results of company.
Manage group of assigned resources. This could include FTE handling claim filing, claim process or damage review based on need.
Manage workflow, workload and results for assigned group.
Review or utilize information available to validate controls are in place around processes.
Provide reporting and analysis on trends. Identify training opportunities for employees and provide input to management on topics.
Provide training on identified needs (self assessed, supervisor identified or workflow/QA identified).
Identify and implement process improvements in conjunction with core management team related to reducing the claims processing time or increasing the resolution of claims filed. Provide suggestions for improvement to current processes and systems.
Direct activities to maximize revenue through review of assignments to identify all/only claims that can be filed and recovered upon..
Implement and Design applicable company policies and procedures,
Travel to visit client sites or operations as needed. Travel approximately 25%.
Provide reporting to senior management regarding status, claims activity, headcount, variances, outstanding issues, etc.
Manage special project as assigned related to all Claims activities, clients, carriers, loan servicers, etc.
Provide clients with requested reports, information, services, etc.
Flexibility handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to travel approximately 25% of time to various client sites
Great organizational and motivational skills
High level of customer service skills
Analytical skills report developing, analysis and explanation
Significant knowledge on homeowners coverages and how to identify damage
Knowledge of mortgage servicing, specifically defaults is needed (or have to be learned)
Prior management experience
Demonstrated ability to improve processes, create efficiencies for Dimont and client
Ability to communicate across departments in order to provide information to those who need (excellent communication skill, verbal and written)
Requirements:
4 year degree is strongly preferred, industry (hazard claims) experience strongly preferred.
