Claims Adjuster -- General Liability
CLAIMS ADJUSTER
GENERAL LIABILITY
Carl Warren & Company is seeking Claims Adjusters experienced in the handling of general liability claims and litigation. CWC is an established and stable company that has been in the industry for 65 years with locations throughout the country.Openings currently exist in the following locations:
Concord, CA
Placentia, CA
San Diego, CA
Albuquerque, NM
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of five to seven years of claims experience and must possess excellent attention to detail, as well as strong computer and organization skills, with a high commitment to providing superior client services. Candidates must also have the ability to work in a team environment with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Duties include handling of general liability claims including investigation, evaluation, establishing reserves, negotiation, and litigation management and settlement of assigned claims in accordance with Best Practices. The ability to maintain an effective diary management system is imperative to ensure that all claims are handled timely. Experienced management of litigated claims, including development of a litigation plan with counsel, tracking and controlling legal expenses, and reaching a cost-effective resolution is required.Extensive communication with clients and relationship building is essential. Experience with public entity claims may be a plus.
