Offers guidance and direction to improve the content and quality of reporting and documentation. Maintains an oversight diary to assist staff in attaining appropriate outcomes through ongoing file review and providing guidance and direction on claims handling and evaluation. Identifies and refers highest valued claims to the Field Claim Director for input and direction. Coaches, counsels, mentors and directs staff to minimize claims litigation by ensuring appropriate service levels are maintained with customers and injured workers. Manages a select caseload of 30 files.The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor degree or equivalent, to include 5 years claims adjusting experience including high valued Workers’ Compensation claims. Supervisory experience preferred. Excellent communication, organizational and PC skills required.About AIG: American International Group, Inc.
