Claim Manager
Summary of Position:Â Â Â
Assists in service to members of Texas Cotton Ginners' Workers' Compensation program by managing the claim unit.
Is responsible for planning, organizing and staffing a claim unit that will provide investigation and resolution of claims. Supervises unit activity and ensures satisfactory delivery of claims services. Is responsible for administrative and training functions of the unit, monitors reserves, ensures compliance with regulatory and TCGT standards and provides technical guidance as may be required. The position will also require some case load handling during peak season.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree. 10 years commercial insurance workers' compensation claim handling experience with a minimum of 5 years in supervisory or management position. Working knowledge of PC computer software programs. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to plan, schedule and work independently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
