Cash Operations Manager

PEMCO Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Cash Operations Manager to manage company funds, oversee cash and expense processes and coach and develop staff.

 

Responsibilities:Supervision, coaching, and development of Cash Operations staff Oversight of cash management and reconciliation, investment accounting and reporting, and accounts payable and receivable processing Administration of cash operations policies, practices and procedures Administration of signatory authority and control policies and procedures Liaison to PEMCO Product and Claims departments for premium receipt and claims payment, serves as consultant in setting up payment methods Management of daily banking relationship, including authorizations and account structure Investment management backup Monitoring of compliance with applicable state and federal laws

Qualifications:Minimum five years of experience in cash management or accounts payable roles with increasing levels of responsibility Minimum five years of experience leading, managing, or supervising others requiredB.A. degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business administration, or equivalent experience required Demonstrated knowledge of basic accounting (including internal controls, reconciliation, separations of duty), accounts payable (Fiserv preferred) management reporting systems, investment management, banking, treasury management, and cash management Knowledge of regulatory environment and compliance requiredCertifications or accreditations in Accounts Payable or Certified Treasury Professional preferred
