Care Management Nurse Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY
- Team leader is responsible for management of clinical and non clinical staff including organization and development of high performing teams; ensures consistency in care management interventions across membership
- Facilitates effective interface among team members; accountable for meeting the operational and quality objectives of the team
- Performs all functions as Clinical Team Leader according to AH policies
- Allocates staff daily workload assignments/monitors caseloads
- Monitors/evaluates individual and team productivity
- Provides training for new and existing staff
- Effectively manage the nuances of diverse teams
- Participates in Quality Improvement program
- Interviews new candidates, makes hiring recommendations
- Supports account management and client initiatives as required

Required Skills:
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Current RN license to practice in the United States
- Three to five years clinical nursing experience
- Supervisory experience including hiring, performance management and development
- Minimum 2 years managed care experience
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrates working knowledge of computers in a Windows environment and word processing programs
- BSN; Masters desired

ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION
Hours of operation are primarily 7 am to 9 pm. This position requires flexibility in working evening shifts and rotating Saturdays.
