Supply chain activities and related tasks, including, but not limited to, reviewing, validating and processing web requisitions and purchase orders; Remains knowledgable of and works with assigned vendors and products; Resolves non-conforming purchasing, receiving and invoice discrepancies; Adheres to established purchasing policies and procedures. Identify and evaluate, as appropriate, suppliers for negotiations of products, contracts, leases and agreements. Ensure most cost efficient pricing, quality and on-time delivery. Expedite deliveries to meet customers' requirements. Provide support to purchasing manager and team. Other duties as assigned.

Associates Degree plus technical training and specialized seminars; 2+ years of purchasing buyer experience; Knowledge of purchasing processes and purchasing law; Accuracy and attention to detail; Ability to multi-task; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Negotiation and organizational skills; Mathematical accuracy; Ability to prioritize and troubleshoot work; Decision-making ability; Computer literacy using e-mail, Microsoft Office and vendor software (PeopleSoft a plus); Customer service focus and people skills a must.
