Business System Analyst
USI Insurance Services LLC (www.usi.biz) is the largest privately-held insurance broker in the US. Founded in 1994, USI is a leading distributor of insurance and financial products and services to businesses throughout the United States. USI is headquartered in Briarcliff Manor, NY, and operates out of 64+ offices in 18 states. USI recently executed a going-private transaction and is now majority owned by Goldman Sachs Capital Partners. USI is initiating a search for a Business Systems Analyst in its Briarcliff Manor, NY headquarters.

Responsibilities:
· Become a subject matter expert (SME) in insurance workflows and applications.
· Utilize the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to manage configuration and change to applications and to ensure that we deliver a quality product. Develop detailed business requirements for new and existing applications.
· Work with business leaders to implement projects and applications changes.
· Manage system conversion activities related to acquisitions.
· Perform application testing associated with conversions and systems changes.
· Interface with business leaders as well as the Infrastructure Technology Group and the Applications Technology Group to ensure that projects and systems are delivered to end user satisfaction.
· Interface with business unit leaders manage projects and to define business processes and business requirements.
· Interface directly with vendors to ensure vendor compliance to contractual agreements.
Experience/Specifications:
· 5-7 years IT and/or systems experience.
· Experience with insurance and sales applications and workflows.
· Project management experience.
· Data analysis, and requirements gathering experience.
· Knowledge of SQL.
· Knowledge of insurance industry a plus.
· Experience with Sagitta, or Microsoft CRM a plus.
· Must be able to manage multiple and rapidly changing, high visibility priorities and projects.
· Team orientation and hands-on approach.
· 4 year degree or equivalent.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the US for any and all companies
Salary commensurate with experience
