Business Program Manager
Overview: PEMCO Mutual Insurance, in Seattle Washington, is looking for an experienced business oriented program manager to provide business leadership to programs, projects and initiatives in our Product division. In addition, the right candidate will also possess the coaching and mentoring skills needed to direct the work of two assigned direct reports.
Responsibilities: Manage portfolio of highly complex or enterprise wide programs, projects and initiatives Develop program strategy and supporting business case for and lead Enterprise level Business Programs. Execute on business discovery and implementation of individual projects Ensure integration of projects and adjust project scope, timing, and budgets as needed, based on the needs of the business Responsible for delivering all projects contained in the Business Solutions portfolio on time, within budget, and meeting the strategic and business requirements Partner with senior leaders to identify and prioritize opportunities Communicate with business leadership to communicate program strategy, direction and changes Supervise, direct and mentor a team of Business Solutions managers. Also direct and mentor others responsible for work effort on teams supporting the projects or programs led by the Business Program Manager Effectively influence, leverage, and collaborate with business partnersQualifications: 10-15 years of insurance industry experience, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role requiredExperience in leading significant enterprise-wide programs and initiatives from a business perspective required3 years experience managing projects as a business lead requiredPrior supervisory experience required BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience required
