Business Objects/Business Intelligence Developer to assist multiple teams of software engineers performing new development and maintenance work on mission critical systems. All tasks are performed under a full life cycle methodology and include the following:Implement, integrate, support, and administer the Business Intelligence environment, specifically the Business Objects tool suite.Expected to have the skills and experience needed to provide product support of our Business Objects tools including Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, Crystal Xcelsius, and Business Objects Enterprise.Working with a team to ensure the stability and availability of the Business Objects deployments in Enterprise, End User Computing (EUC), and Business Intelligence Reference Architecture (BIRA).Develop, follow, and/or implement infrastructure policies, strategies, guidelines, standards, and procedures.

Technical Skills Needed:3+ years experience in design and development of Business Intelligence solutions in medium/large scale commercial enterprises and developing complex applications on the Business Objects platform. Hands-on experience in web services architecture, design, development and implementation and portal development. Strong knowledge of relational database concepts, large-scale RDMS based systems design and development, dimensional modeling, OLAP and Business Intelligence concepts and design methodology. Strong skills around some of the Business Objects product families such as: the Business Objects (BO) Web Intelligence XI R2, BO Universe development, BO Report development, Business Objects SDK, BO Ad Hoc reporting, BO System usage monitoring, BO Security design and implementation, BO Central Management Console, BO InfoView, BO Scheduler and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) products .Bachelors' degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical discipline.

Must have written and verbal communication ability to explain issues and concepts to both technical and non-technical employeesThis role involves communicating with business partners and other support areas within and outside of the Systems Department
