Business Analyst / QA Analyst with Reinsurance

We are seeking a Business / QA Analyst.  The candidate will have a successful track record in business analysis utilizing system development life cycle principles and methodology.  The person must be skilled at multi-tasking, and time management.  In addition strong personal skills, verbal and written communication, and ability to develop good business and information technology relationships.  The individual will be responsible for resolving complex problems where they will need to analyze situations or data to determine a course of action.  The candidate may need to provide both business and technical leadership, coordinate or assist with test plans, scripts, system testing, and mentor other business staff.


QUALIFICATIONS:Experience in developing, implementing and executing test plans and test scripts to verify the applications functionalities, performance, and compliance with the business requirements.Full software development life cycle experienceSenior level hands-on functional experience with mainframe based TAI Reinsurance System.Excellent interpersonal, analytical and verbal/written communication skills.Strong leadership skills and ability to see a project through to completion.Ability to mentor others.A college degree or equivalent work experience and a minimum of 5 years experience in reinsurance, or life insurance industryMinimum 5 years experience in business analysis and software testingProficiency with Microsoft Office Applications

FOLLOWING ARE A PLUS:Knowledge of testing tools QTP and Quality Center.Prior Mainframe programming background.

POSITION:This is a contract position.
