Billing Specialist I

Provides timely and accurate responses to inquiries from members, group administrators, and other Plan associates. Investigates and resolves discrepancies of daily payments. Processes billing/payment adjustments due to enrollment transactions. These responsibilities pertain to multiple systems, which are used in billing and cash distribution for all IBC Family of Companies.  In addition to exceptional analytical skills, our qualifications include: High School diploma required; Associate's degree in Business Administration preferred. A minimum of one-year recent Customer Service experience required. Familiarity with enrollment and billing department processes and procedures is strongly preferred. Must have above average comprehension and retention skills, be proficient in written and oral communication skills, and possess a high degree of problem solving, and decision-making skills. A strong foundation in basic mathematics is required, and should have prior data entry experience.
