Billing Data Analyst

DESCRIPTION Monitoring and analyzing the billing and payment trends associated with the administration of premium collections.  Ensure billing response performs as expected and identify any adverse trends and determining their causes.  Reviewing process and billing improvements and their impact on pay rate and profitability and making recommendations to senior management based on findings.  Designing and analyzing tests of proposed changes.  Responding to management inquiries regarding billing and response statistics.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTBachelor's degree or expected graduation in the Spring of 2008 with strong emphasis in mathematics or statistics.QUALIFICATIONS ●Proven ability to work with large databases●Ability to work independently while conducting in-depth analysis ●Strong analytical skills (e.g. trend analysis, test analysis, cost/benefit analysis)●Excellent verbal and written communication skills●Insurance or billing background helpful●Aptitude for statistical compilation and interpretation
