JOB DESCRIPTION:
Candidate will be the primary point of contact for clients for all administrative service issues. Communicate with clients on a regular basis; developing a trusting/productive relationship with clients to assure revenue retention. Initiate development of action plans to address process, customer service and technical concerns. Works collaboratively to make informed decisions with all resources and key contacts, including identifying cross selling opportunities. Manage special projects for client, acts as liaison to all internal departments as well as client contacts (including client vendors as appropriate).
Schedules client management team meetings with all functional areas to review activity and account status; develops meeting agenda including performance reports from each area; provides functional managers with updates on client issues and feedback from team membersDirect the functional areas in their development of action plans to resolve and/or address deficiencies in deliverablesProactively seek to identify unanticipated business drivers; information must be shared immediately with all affected partiesManage services; routinely monitor and measure to assure standards are metDevelops, establishes and maintains positive working relationships with clients in order to meet or exceed new sales and renewals goalsDevelops special handling procedures for clients with unique service requirementsWork with functional managers and performance reporting team to proactively identify internal and external service needs. Work to ensure timeliness of all reporting to client and/or their respective vendors Responds to inquiries from clients within timeframes assignedDevelop and maintain client escalation log; Complete and deliver Incident reporting to management as necessary, documenting in the systemAdvise client of any service disruptions; share information related to cause and recovery timeProvide root cause analysis of any issues that causes disruption in serviceManagement of assigned accountsManage the installation and implementation process for new and existing accounts to explain benefits contract provisions and utilizations proceduresDevelop strategies to increase member loyalty and to build relationships to maintain and increase membership within clientsResponsible for effective communication and coordination within internal team and clientsFacilitates communications between functional leaders and subject matter experts. Liaison between clients and the internal operations staffDevelops and maintains positive working relationships with key contacts and team members in all functional areasSingle point of contact for groups and broker and all escalated service issues for key decision makersOversees resolution of issues among service partners as neededPromote the use of ancillary products and new benefits to existing accountsOther tasks as assigned
Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years knowledge of COBRA/HIPAA/Flexible Benefits Administration Services and/or related industry/regulatory experience. Provide strong leadership and present interpersonal and consultative skills needed to effectively manage clients. Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and assess situations quickly and make logical and appropriate decisions. Ability to multi-task and effectively work in a fast paced environment; must meet deadlines. Self motivated, requiring little or no supervision; flexible, team player, able to motivate others. Ability to develop corrective strategies and assist in presenting and directing same. Proficiency in MS Office tools including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Possess excellent facilitation skills. Develop and maintain effective business relationships with clients and functional management. Mature and professional in attitude and appearance. Strong analytical, problem solving skills. Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills. College degree or a minimum of 3 years related business/industry experience required. Previous account management and health care benefits experience a plus. Bilingual in Spanish a must.
