What you need for this position –
· Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university required. Masters degree desirable.
· Minimum 5-7 years successful experience in a corporate benefits environment.
· Prior experience in the design and administration of defined benefit and defined contribution retirement plans
· Prior experience working with benefit plan financial statements, audits and communications.
· Prior experience in the design and administration of health and welfare plans.
· Strong analytical, business planning and consultative capabilities.
· Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, presentation and listening required.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with intermediate to advanced skills in Excel.
· Successful experience in budgeting and expense management very helpful.
· Proactive, self-motivated individual capable of assuming a leadership role for the benefits function.
What you will be doing –
· Design and administration of employee and executive retirement and health & welfare benefits including internal processes and outside vendor management.
· Oversee preparation of benefits financial statements for Retirement, 401(k), and Health Care Plans.
· Coordination of annual open enrollment and benefit plan audits.
· Coordination of benefits oversight committees.
· Take the existing benefits operations to a new level through strategic planning and execution, relationship building with key internal decision makers and external constituents, process and systems improvement, outside vendor management and enhanced consultative services.
