3 month + contract position available for a Backup Engineer to support the Legato Back-up environment for both the Sun and Intel platform. Specific responsibilities include:* Design and support skills in a Legato backup environment on both SUN and Intel platforms. Design and implementation skillis in VTL deployment in large open systems environment using SUN/STK tape libraries. * Design, implementation, and support skills in SAN and storage technologies primarily with EMC and NetApp hardware/software. * In addition, engineers should have knowledge of other SAN, storage and backup/restore infrastructures from other leading vendors. *Other responsibilities include business case development, storage asset management, standards development, quote generation and review, and budget planning and review.
