Assistant Operations Manager

Major Duties and Functions Include: Provides administrative support to an insurance and financial services sales agency. Will work closely with and provide assistance to sales representatives. Assists in supervising the office operations for a larger agency. Assists management with developing systems and processes to streamline operations. Manages daily workflow and operations and establishes office procedures. Prepares and analyzes productivity reports; completes and follows up on compensation adjustments and setbacks. Implements training for office staff and sales producers. Oversees the implementation and administration of the recognition program. May manage, perform and/or back up the job duties for staff members. Performs other related duties as assigned or required. What You Need to Succeed: 1-3 years previous Financial Services or Insurance experience Ability to interact with and support a large sales team Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks Strong computer hardware/software skills and proficiency with MS Office and Lotus Notes Ability to work in a fast paced environment and be very detail oriented Must be able to work overtime Work shouldn’t be something you do just to make ends meet.
