Overview
The American National Property Management team, located at South Shore Harbour in League City, is now seeking an Assistant Chief Engineer, to assist with planning, implementation, coordination and supervision of all mechanical operations, maintenance, communications, energy management and manpower development for over 500K square feet of Class A Office Space.
Individual will be required to:Assist in implementation and management of preventative maintenance program.Assist Chief Engineer in the coordination of projects and maintenance tasks for engineering crew members.Perform plumbing, electrical and HVAC repairs.Respond to tenant requestsDirectly report to Chief Engineer.Maintain emergency, mechanical, operation and environmental records.Performs Chief Engineer functions in his or her absence.This is a working physical requirements include stooping, standing, climbing and frequent lifting minimum of 50 lbs of equipment (pumps, tools, ladders).
Qualifications/CompetenciesMinimum 5 to 7 years related experience in building supervisory positionOffice building maintenance experience requiredTechnical, vocational or on-the-job training in all of the following areas:HVACElectricalMechanicalProcess controls PlumbingMust be customer service-oriented with strong interpersonal skillsMust also have strong oral and written communication skillsEngineering license(s) a plus!High school diploma required.
