Account Specialist I
MetLife, a leading provider of insurance and other financial services to individual and institutional customers, is seeking an Account Specialist I in Tampa, FL! Major Duties and Functions Include: Provides customer service to group insurance policy owners (employers), employees, sales offices, strategic alliances (SA), brokers and vendors. Responds to complex customer requests, via telephone or written correspondence regarding inquiries, discrepancies, etc. What You Need to Succeed: Prioritizes daily workload on a assigned block of business to ensure specified turnaround time (TAT) objectives are maintained. Conducts bill audits of groups to reconcile outstanding premium due balances. Makes corrections identified by system-generated error reports. Handles high transaction volumes on daily basis. Handles customer referrals from call center. Maintains all reports related to specified block of business. Identifies and recommends new procedures to provide efficiencies in administering business Adheres to small market service response standards. Performs other related duties as assigned or required. 1-3 years experience required Work shouldn’t be something you do just to make ends meet.
