Services accounts and builds relationships to maintain members or grow
membership within companies; develops strategies to increase member loyalty.
Serves as liaison between employers/brokers/consultants and the internal
operations staff for the plan, communicating benefits, claims costs and
experience ratings.

Enrolls new business and provides service to existing accounts.

Responds to customer concerns and issues, identifies trends and serves as a
liaison with Blue Shield for client needs. Follows up with internal sources to
ensure resolution of claims and service problems.

Conducts administrative meeting to various groups; responds to questions and
explains Blue Shield benefits, products, services, policies and procedures.

Makes sales calls and follows up with groups, brokers or agents as appropriate.

Develops special handling procedures for groups or accounts with unique service
requirements.

Trains team members and clients on specific billing, claims and service
procedures.

Bachelor's degree and five years relevant experience or equivalent combination
of education and experience.

Comprehensive knowledge of the administration of a Health Plan

Excellent customer service skills.

Excellent math, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Life license and CA driver's license and evidence of insurance.

Good interpersonal and leadership skills.

Ability to travel regularly throughout assigned territory.

PC proficient in MS Office
