Position Description:

The Account Manager drives the growth in the market for the PipelineClaims® software product by acquiring, servicing, managing and retaining key customer accounts with professionalism, integrity and profitability.  The Account Manager develops and leverages their contacts within the insurance industry, gains a clear understanding of their customers’ business needs, and persuasively demonstrates how the PipelineClaims® product can effectively support their customers’ business goals.

 

Responsibilities:

•  Develop new sales prospects in order to build and grow market share across the U.S. and internationally

•  Conduct sales presentations and product demos and manage the sales cycle

•  Coordinate creation and review of sales proposals, letters of intent and responses to RFIs and RFPs

•  Negotiate sales contract prices and terms and conditions

•  Close prospective clients while setting and managing customer expectations

•  Maintain and expand products and services to existing customer base

•  Achieve or exceed annual and periodic sales goals

•  Accept profit-and-loss responsibility for assigned customer accounts and establish action plans for improving profitability

•  Monitor client satisfaction levels and provide customer feedback to internal BlueWave departments

•  Keep abreast of changing market conditions and competitive landscape

•  Represent BlueWave Technology at national and international trade shows, conferences and seminars.

 

Position Requirements:

•  Bachelor’s degree

•  2 to 5 years of experience in sales of enterprise software or related services

•  Recent sales experience and contacts in the P&C insurance industry preferred

•  Proven track record of successfully developing and managing key accounts

•  Consistent overachievement of sales quotas and revenue goals

•  Excellent communicator, highly organized, results-oriented and able to work independently and toward aggressive goals

•  Must possess excellent business, consulting, inter-personal, presentation and closing skills

•  Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
