The Account Coordinator supports the achievement of corporate revenue and profit goals through working with the Account Management staff to communicate client and carrier results, plans, and needs. As the clients’ and carriers’ internal spokesperson for AGIA, the Account Manager will work with Account Executives and internal associates to ensure client goals are achieved and implemented. Requirements:
College degree, BA or BS preferred or equivalent work experienceInsurance Industry coursework desirable
· Five years business experience required, preferably with insurance carriers/providers or related businessPrior Account Management experience highly desirableProven ability to independently execute projects from inception to completionExperience with Direct Mail Marketing highly desirable
Responsibilities:
Communicate regularly with internal and external audiences, as the liaison, to continuously build working relationships and facilitate efficient, productive business operations by providing extensive project/product information.
Handle insured escalations and/or complaints from initiation to resolution and advise Account Executive of outcome(s).
Develop and write Account Management memos for AGIA company-wide distribution regarding new products, clients, offers or other initiatives to communicate operational needs and requirements.
Work with Account Executives and Account Management staff in the preparation of client meetings so that AGIA and the clients have a complete understanding of the insurance program. This would include providing assistance in the development of presentations and booklets for client reviews, which entails working with internal departments and carriers to obtain the necessary program data.
Coordinate with operation staff relative to the internal implementation of client related projects and corporate goals. This entails the direct communication with all departments, including the facilitation of and participation in meetings, and the coordination and follow through of departmental responsibilities, ensuring a thorough understanding of the corporate, client and carrier project requirements.
Work with Account Executives and provide insight as it relates to recommendations for revenue goals and profits for assigned clients as directed by Account Management Manager. Provide support to the Account Executives in the monitoring of results and communicate necessary changes to ensure revenue and profit goals are achieved.
