ACE Westchester specializes in the wholesale distribution of Property, Inland Marine, Casualty, Professional Lines and Environmental Liability products. In addition, the Program Division is a leading market in agricultural insurance and an experienced underwriter of commercial programs.  Westchester provides specialized products and services on an admitted and non-admitted basis. MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Responsibilities for this position include implementing product line underwriting objectives by review, evaluation, selection and pricing insurance programs. In addition, generating new business revenues by developing prospects, visiting assigned producers, participating in direct presentations and negotiating programs. Providing primary communication and direction for all processing requirements including policy issuance instruction, endorsement requests, billing requirements and audit review. Must also evaluate reinsurance needs and coordinate as necessary within company and departmental guidelines.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

 

Requirements for this position include 5 to 10 years Property Underwriting experience. Must have a working knowledge of the Wholesale Brokerage Community, and track record of providing quality service to producers and clients consistent with established service standards. Ability to market and produce profitable new business, balanced between marketing and technical skills, also required. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple and complex task. Must be familiar with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
