Job Description:Primary responsibility is to provide sales support to wholesalers and financial advisors selling AXA-Equitable 401(k) products. In partnership with the external wholesaler, the inside wholesaler is responsible for developing and maintaining existing relationships, as well as identifying and acquiring new business within their territory to meet sales goals. Training is provided to develop and enhance industry and product knowledge in order to effectively communicate and build credibility with financial advisors.Responsible for raising and retaining 401k assets within a geographic territory by making proactive phone calls to, or taking inbound calls from, financial advisors - to share sales ideas, provide product information, gather marketing data and offer sales support. You will develop and maintain relationships with existing brokers in order to sell AXA-Equitable 401(k) products, as well as identify new sales opportunities.

Job Requirements:The person filling this job should have strong ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Overtime may be necessary during periods of heavy volume, or for time sensitive projects.In addition, this individual should: Be able to present complex information in a clear manner, both orally and in writing.Have a working knowledge with the pension provisions of the Internal Revenue Code and ERISA.Be able to present the features of the various AXA-Equitable pension products.Assist external wholesalers daily with prospecting activitiesEducate Financial Advisor on all aspects of product/market environmentBe aware of the world of investments and of 401(k) competitor's offerings.Coordinate & participate in pre-sale discussions regarding plan design/product sale/implementationStrong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.Have NASD Series 6 & 63 license or ability to obtain.Have at least 3 years pension related experience.
