Scope of Duties: Manages the smooth operation of The EDGE - the Employee Housing Building with on-going attention to health, maintenance and safety issues which provides a comfortable, secure, happy and healthy environment for the residents and all copper staff. Develop, design, and implement an effective short-term employee housing program. Effectively manage those fundamental activities and principle functions vital to all phases of the employer - employee relationship in regards to their housing. Responsible for overseeing employee housing staff and cafeteria staff. Directs all employee housing, cafeteria, guests, groups, Camp Woodward and capitol functions including budgeting, leasing, property management, etc. Acts as liaison between homeowners and company.
Effectively manage those fundamental activities and principle functions vital to all phases of the employer/employee relationship in regards to their housing, cafeteria and other experiences as well as property management in The EDGE. Manages and supports the development of the employee housing team, Resident Advisor team, front and back of the house cafeteria staff and all staff to run Camp Woodward as it related to the Edge experience. Build, interpret and reconcile annual budget for Employee Housing, EDGE Lodging, Cafeteria and Camp Woodward lodging. Strategically manage the administration of Employees, Guests, Group lodging and the Camp Woodward program as it related to the EDGE.
Recruits, trains, retains and effectively leads the team while maintaining a focus on our Core Values and supports our Pillars and Personalities while delivering on our Business Plan.
* Determine the housing needs of various departments, and fulfilling those needs as efficiently as possible
* Manage the application, allocation, move-in and move-out processes as determined through the employee housing software program (Diebold)
* Create and enforce rules and policies of employee housing and ensure residents are made aware of said rules and policies during the move-in process and throughout residency
* Management of residents in regards to corrective action, evictions and room inspections for health, safety and general housing violations
* Handle conflicts that arise between residents in employee housing
* Manage processes with help from accounting for assurance of accurate revenue (rent payments, payroll deductions, deposits, other fees) and expenses (deposit refunds, invoices for services, vending commissions, etc).
* Work closely with Food & Beverage on implementation and maintenance of successful meal plan in the EDGE cafeteria
Requirements:
Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lb. or carry for 100 yards throughout an 8-10 hour workday. Must be able to demonstrate safe lifting techniques for moving furniture into employee housing units.
College degree or equivalent in Business Administration or related field. Three to four years in related field, i.e. Property Management, Human Resources; including a minimum of three years supervisory experience, Food Service and Camp experience a plus.
Excellent portrayal of customer service, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills is a must. The EDGE Manager will deliver consistent and high quality maintenance, property and project management activities and services to employees, guests, internal customers, groups and campers safely in a timely manner.
