Sr. Tech Analyst, Ops & Infra (IDM Developer

Overview:
Provides support of application data, development tools, data collection, languages or operating systems unique to business units (BU) in order to meet BU internal and external user requirements.

Responsibilities/Relationships:
- Liaison on tools, applications between CGS and IBM unique to BU.
- Performs research, analysis, design, and implementation of technical solutions to meet current and future user requirements.
- May have development and quality control responsibilities for application technical design and implementation, client operations design, telecommunications design, database design, and system conversion.
- Has project responsibilities in all or some of the following areas: project planning, work plan development and staffing.
- Provide technical assistance on projects throughout the environment.
- Performs the help line assistance function, as required, establishing urgency of the problem and owning the problem through resolution keeping the client informed of progress.
- Coaches and mentors junior staff. Provide technical assistance and work direction to aid other employees.

- High Level of technical proficiency in associated platform
- Build appropriate 'packages' (scripted or image based) that automate application installation
Perform solution testing within Lab environment
- Able to understand strategic Industry directions and current / future product versioning plans
- Document installation processes in standard (existing) format
- Provide timely response to Level 3 support requests
- Work with customers to understand and determine technical requirements to solve specific business problems
- Possess a strong sense of urgency. Work effectively within a process driven organization. Process analysis and updates to existing processes


Position Requirements:

Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree, with a technology or business emphasis, or equivalent education/experience.
- 5-8 years

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- We are looking for a hands-on identity management technical specialist.
- Extensive experience with the following: UNIX/Wintel, databases and related software tools such as JAVA, LDAP, etc. and Identity management tools. etc.
- Applicant should have experience with the technical elements of security controls.
- Experience with PCI/GLBA/SOX requirements is a strong plus.
- Applicant needs to have the ability to create and/or validate automation scripts using appropriate platform specific tools.
- You will assist in Level 3 support requests.
- Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Applicant will participate in the build platform specific security elements of Release "packages- to be implemented by in house service provider.
- Able to understand and analyze technical processes to facilitate continuous improvements.
- Ability to work with direction, but without much supervision is important.
- A solid understanding of the policy, regulatory and legal issues is a plus.
- Able to create detailed installation, configuration and support documentation.
- Exposure to Six Sigma process methodology a plus.
- Will participate in determining appropriate technology used to meet business requirements.

Physical Qualifications/Work Environment:
- This position will be expected to provide 3rd level support on call including weekends in a 7x24 Production environment
