Do you have a passion for skiing and/or snowboarding that you want to share with others? If so, then we want to see you here this Winter Season 2008/2009. Whether you are an experienced instructor or you are new to professional skiing and riding instruction, then we want to give you the opportunity to teach, learn and train with us.
The Ski & Ride School at Winter Park Resort is currently accepting applications for Full Time and Part Time ski & snowboard instructors for the 2008-2009 winter season in our Adult and Kids programs.
Instructors are primarily responsible for teaching skiing and snowboarding to the guests of Winter Park Resort. This may include class lessons, private lessons and special programs as assigned; for adults and/or children. Lessons are taught using manners and methods prescribed by the Winter Park Ski & Ride School using the Guest Centered Teaching model, with an emphasis on safety and guest satisfaction in order to meet or exceed the motivations and expectations of our guests.
Requirements:
Qualified applicants must be 18 years of age and have a High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
Skiing and snowboarding experience, expertise and passion highly desirable.
Any past coaching and teaching experience is also desirable.
Any Professional teaching experience, PSIA (Professional Ski Instructors of America) or AASI (American Association of Snowboard Instructors) certification is desirable for both the adult and children's operations.
Wage range for this position will be discussed at time of interview and dependant on experience.
