Senior Financial Analyst

DSM Nutritional Products, Inc.—the recognized leader in vitamin nutrition, and a leading supplier of vitamins and carotenoids to the feed, food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries—offers the following challenging opportunity in our Parsippany, NJ facility:

SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST

* Assists with the preparation of financial reports for monthly management reports for four Business Controllers and CFO.
* Prepares forecasting and budgeting schedules and operating costs variance analysis.
* Assists with month end close responsibilities, prepares all inter-company billings and monthly inventory block stock report.
* Responsible for cost reporting for Premix for the Human Nutrition Business Unit and the Animal Nutrition Business Unit.
* Support financial accounting operations, plant controlling and management accounting initiatives.
* Assist in business technology and solution efforts providing effective business information management.
* Resolves credit issues and works on ad hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications:

BS in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience required; MBA strongly preferred. General accounting experience with academic achievements in finance, information technology or business required. The successful candidate will possess technical knowledge along with strong communication and teaming skills. Knowledge of MS Office (Excel & Access) is a must. SAP experience is a plus. The desire to develop strong skills in business operations and grow into a professional, managerial or leadership position is essential. Candidate must be interested in working in a changing environment, be a self-starter and enjoy continual challenge. Light travel required.
