Sales Manager
The Chippewa Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau seeks an energetic team player with excellent interpersonal skills who enjoys inside and outside sales. Join our team of dedicated professionals in the exciting field of tourism and be part of a fun and rewarding work environment. The Bureau is the Destination Marketing Organization for the area, responsible for promoting Eau Claire, Menomonie, Altoona, Town of Wheaton and the Town of Union, WI as a destination for leisure and business travelers nationwide.Â

This individual must be well organized; detail oriented and possess strong initiative. The Sales Manager is involved in all aspects of developing and implementing the marketing plan. The Sales Manager’s primary responsibility is booking hotel business in connection with targeted marketing efforts and programs.Â
Â
The position will require independent work as well as collaboration on team projects. Creativity, flexibility, and dedication are crucial to achieving success.
Â
Sales efforts will be targeted at Group markets. Prospecting and developing new and unique niches within this market is a vital factor.
Â
Candidate must possess prior experience in Sales & Marketing, experience in the Hotel, Attractions, Tourism or Meeting Industry is preferred.
Â
Travel is required.
