Resort and Hospitality GM

This position will function as General Manager of a cleaning and maintenance company while controlling a profit center. The qualified candidate will manage all aspects of service provided for resort owned and operated by parent company. The candidate will obtain and manage new business outside the parent company. The position will manage all aspects of maintenance and housekeeping responsibilities; in addition to allowing for company growth and managed P and L for said property.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Experience in managing all aspects of resort maintenance, housekeeping and general management. Experience in recruiting, training, as well as employee relations. Hands on experience in hotel/motel management.Class “Câ€� Driver’s LicenseMust be a problem solver with excellent organizational skills

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 Must have experience and knowledge of maintenance.Familiarity with computers is required, knowledge of yield management is essentialPrior experience as a manger or supervisor of employees in the hotel business is necessaryA College degree is preferred.

 

The ideal candidate will need to be extremely hands on, enjoy interacting with people, capable of creating and operating a warm and comfortable environment and yet driven by maximizing revenues and the bottom line.  You should be a self-starter who enjoys operating independently, capable of managing all aspects of a hotel operation and experienced in hospitality.
