The XpresSpa Regional Manager is the leader of a regional XpresSpa team and is responsible for establishing and maintaining standards that result in every customer receiving the best experience in the airport. The Regional Manager must also deliver the highest level of customer service to our guests while maintaining strict operational standards and constantly pushing sales. The Regional Manager must be reliable, self-motivating, commercially aware and able to drive the business as a solid leader. This position also acts as the direct liaison with airport, airline administrators, and executives.

The role of Regional Manager requires 100% travel with the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee multiple spas within a geographic region reporting to the General Manager of XpresSpa Hire, develop, and supervise store managers within territory Ensure each store within the territory is achieving it’s monthly financial goals Make recommendations for improvements to the business to General Manager Increase sales through improving or implementing the following: Ongoing store management training Emphasis on upselling Ensuring spa staff is customer service oriented and maintaining the highest quality Assist managers in developing, motivating and rewarding stellar employee performance to reduce to turnover Maintain positive relationships with key airport personnel within territory Monitor expenses to ensure they are consistent with budgets and take appropriate actions to reduce costs when necessary Enforce effective selling techniques Ensure a consistent, quality store experience for customers from location to location Work with corporate marketing department to create promotions and merchandising opportunities for each store Monitor inventory levels and identify top selling products to push at individual store locations Ensure store managers are adhering to company policies, procedures and using company performance management tools and resources to develop talent for leadership roles Troubleshoot and problem solve in unique situations
KNOWLEDGE and EXPERIENCE
Possesses superior communication, team and employee development and relationship building skills Has 8+ years experience in retail management Understands financial statements, has a strong business acumen, solid operational skills and comprehends how operational decisions impact financial performance and achieve company objectives Possesses a strong attention to detail – whether it be to aesthetics within spas, financials or customer body language Extensive previous sales experience and employee scheduling experience required. Must exhibit exceptional leadership skills, poise and maturity and be able to work autonomously, with little day to day management Must be committed to customer service excellence Must be a solutions oriented problem solver Experience with multi-location management a plus
