Hotel General Manager
We are seeking a General Manager to run our mid-size franchised motel in the small friendly town of Giddings, Texas. Likely candidates must be a self-motivated team player that possesses a professional image, an outgoing personality and a highly ambitious attitude.
Duties: Oversight of the Front Desk and all day-to-day operations (i.e. housekeeping and maintenance). Â Maintains the hotel's prominence by inspecting rooms and the public access areas on a daily basis. Development and execution of Guest Service trainings for employees as well as maintaining the Ramada Hotel Franchise Standards. Maintains customer satisfaction by personally responding to and resolving customer-related issues.
Skills/Qualifications: 2+ years of hotel management experience is required. Must have at least an AA degree or equivalent education. Computer literacy including Microsoft Office (i.e. Word and Excel) applications, Operating Systems: XP, 2000, and data entry are preferred. Excellent communication skills. Ability to pass drug and criminal background checks.
