Director, Brand Food & Beverage

Position Description:

Develops and delivers relevant, profitable and high guest satisfaction food & beverage strategies and programs for Carlson Hotels.

Develops and maintains standards for food & beverage program and related service delivery for hotel F&B outlets, room service and banqueting. Analyzes compliance trends, hotel best practices and develops program implementation, processes, collateral, reporting and support to achieve standards compliance.

Effectively deploys hotel F&B programs that maximize hotel compliance, operator delivery and guest satisfaction, while minimizing hotel cost.

Reviews and approves F&B outlet concepts, design and logisitics for hotels undergoing renovation and new construction projects.

Collaborates with Architecture & Design, Strategic Sourcing and third parties to develop F&B outlet physical design prototypes, turn-key conversion design solutions, and kitchen logistics.

Develops and implements effective F&B program pilot testing.

Develops and fosters a brand culture of quality, commitment and pride in property-level F&B development & delivery

Stays current in F&B industry trends and related hotel F&B operations to develop viable food & beverage experiences for guests, hotel operators and supplier stakeholders.

Develops and implements effective brand support tools and processes for hotels deficient in F&B delivery.

Collaborates with other functional areas to leverage value of F&B opportunities in co-marketing opportunities as needed.

Develops and collaborates in senior level F&B supplier relations to enhance strategic and innovative program opportunities.

Collaborates with Strategic Sourcing to ensure value added sourcing models, quality supplier relationships and supplier service to hotels and CHW.

Performs other duties as assigned.



Position Requirements:

- Bachelors Degree
- 10+ Years Hotel Food & Beverage leadership experience in Upper Upscale and Upscale Select hotel segment systems & processes
- 5 + years management experience
- 5+ years culinary experience preferred
- Proven ability to develop and deliver comprehensive F&B programs
- Demonstrates credibility and flexibility in working with range of hotel F&B concepts
- Track record of driving results through leadership capability, strong project management and continuous improvement
- Demonstrated strong business judgment and decision making skills
