Corporate Director of Finance

American Casino & Entertainment Properties, LLC is looking for a Corporate Director of Finance. 

This position will be responsible for the operational direction, administration and coordination of all activities of Finance related activities reporting directly to the Vice President of Finance.

Supervises, provides support and day to day leadership direction to assigned staff in accordance with the departmental table of organization. Works with inter-departmental personnel to ensure the operational effectiveness of all financial and accounting matters. Oversees corporate finance and accounting day to day and strategic responsibilities, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Accounting departments.

Supervisory responsibilities include, but are not limited to, account reconciliations and review; financial statement review; and check review. Coordinates and ensures accurate preparation of daily Flash report, monthly, quarterly, annual financial statements and other financial information in a timely manner to assist managers in operating their departments efficiently and effectively. Other duties as assigned.

Five to Seven years prior experience in high-level accounting/finance background, preferably from Las Vegas-style gaming. Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting or related field required. Must possess excellent written, verbal and individual and group presentation communication skills. Must have the ability to effectively interact with large groups of people in a business or community environment.
