Landry’s Restaurants, has an open position for a part-time Marketing Copywriter at our Corporate Headquarters in the Galleria area of Houston, TX. This position will report to the Vice President of Marketing. As we continue to grow, we need high caliber, experienced individuals to join our organization. Job Description: The qualified candidate will prepare, write and proofread copy for brochures, ads, marketing pieces, menus and employee newsletter, as well as various human resource materials such as employee handbooks, manuals, policies and procedures, and other materials as needed. Additionally, this person will prepare and write scripts for radio and television commercials.Requirements: Three to five years experience in an advertising agency or in-house marketing department. This person must be detail oriented and have the ability to effectively write and proofread various marketing and human resource materials. The ideal candidate will possess excellent creative writing, language and grammar skills. Bachelor’s Degree in journalism, advertising or other related field.
