Concierge - Jamaicaway Tower and Townhouses

Under the direction of the Property Manager or his/her designated subordinate, the Concierge is to provide assistance to the residents of Jamaicaway Tower and Townhouses and their guests and to aid in the protection of the cooperative assets.

Specific duties include:  Resident services - valet parking, accepting deliveries, gaining entry to apartments when necessary, and both normal and emergency maintenance requests.  Property assessments - walk the site, identity maintenance requests such as a light out and relay them to management.  Control vendor entry to property - maintain vendor log, control visitor assess to residents - id visitors, get resident approval for their enty.  Respond to emergency calls by calling police, fire and other emergency services.  Respond to emergency maintenance alarms and requests - boiler reset, calling maintenance.  Accept other duties as assigned.

Job requirements:  High school diploma or equivalent required.  Basic typing/word processing skills, valid drivers license, and excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required.
