Area Account Manager Needed for Major Hotel Chain

Our client is the owner and operator of nearly 700 hotels across the United States and Canada, is the largest corporate owned and managed hotel chain in the United States. Each of their brands is designed for travelers looking for longer term accommodations at an exceptional value.

The salary for this job is $35,000 - $45,000 plus uncapped commissions!


Area Account Manager Job Summary: Accountable to manage sales activities and direct sales efforts to meet revenue objectives. Responsibilities include identifying accounts with significant revenue potential for all client Hotels located in assigned geographic area and soliciting those accounts to increase revenues for the company to meet overall account revenue objectives. Work with 100 assigned accounts to increase revenue to achieve and exceed assigned revenue targets. Partner with Directors of National Account Sales to improve effectiveness of company solicitation efforts of National/State Accounts and Markets assigned to them. Create quarterly Account action plans to detail strategy and tactics to increase sales from assigned accounts. Responsible for accompanying GM’s and or RDOS on calls to key clients in their market as appropriate should the account represent significant revenue potential. Requirements

Qualified candidates must have:

 A minimum of 1 year of sales or customer service experience in the Hotel Industry. This can be experienced gained while in school! RECENT GRADS WELCOME!  Excellent written/verbal communication skills  The ability to travel a roughly 50 mile radius to cover multiple accounts (NO OVERNIGHT TRAVEL WILL BE REQUIRED)  Time Management Skills and the ability to Multi-Task  Strong Computer Skills  Strong Work Ethic and Drive to Succeed!
