I live and work in south central West Virginia, in Fayette County. I am a family physician, a graduate of West Virginia University School of Medicine and the University of Tennessee Family Practice residency program in Knoxville. My family and I have lived ehre for over 20 years. I built a 3-physician office building in 1999, just off a 4-lane highway, with all the modern amenities, including in-office X-ray, lab and 11 exam rooms. I have been an employee, have tried not being independent, and have determined from personal experience that being "my own boss" as you would, is the best choice.

 

I am looking for that special person who would prefer not being an employee, who loves what our Maker has created, not man, and is looking to get away from the congestion and crowds of the city. Fayette County is rural, scarcely populated, and blessed by God with abundant natural beauty. We have perhaps the best variety, change of seasons anywhere in the USA, with a distinct summer, autumn, winter and spring. If you have some concern about our planet Earth's future, and want to use the least energy possible to live well, then West Virginia is your place. WV is the only energy exporting state east of the Mississippi River. Our future is safe and secure.
