Windows Systems Administrator
A Medical company in Irving, TX is seeking a Windows Sys Admin. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. All candidates must be local to DFW Metroplex. BASIC FUNCTION: Configures, implements, and maintains various technologies managed by the Technology Services department. Administers the ACEP’s network infrastructure to include desktop PC’s, servers, network equipment, and software applications. Assess and identify appropriate solutions to be integrated into the ACEP’s systems operation and make recommendations for implementation. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience Five years of systems/network experience Five years experience with Windows 2000/2003 Server platforms with an emphasis on Active Directory Experience with various workstation equipment such as PC and Macs and their operating systems OTHER DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to schedule own work and accomplish tasks with no direct supervision Strong background in Exchange 2003/2007 messaging system Solid knowledge of LAN/WAN configurations to include experience with Cisco routers & switches, Internet firewalls, and wireless technology Basic Windows scripting skills Experience setting up and managing database systems such as SQL Server Background supporting telephone systems such as ESI Advanced hardware & software troubleshooting skills Above average organization skills, excellent communication skills, problem solving skills, and a willingness to learn Job Reference Code: 7503AESYS Company: Modis, Inc.
