Web/Intranet Administrator

The Institute For Transfusion Medicine is seeking an IT Professional that will be responsible for the following: Manages the day-to-day operation of ITxM's Organizational Intranet. Apply expertise in document workflow configuration and general web production to create, maintain, and improve site content and features. Maintain data repositories which serve as data sources for intranet pages. Provide administration, maintenance and support of the web sites, web servers, and web application servers. Assist with the management and implementation of internet and intranet growth and maintenance of projects. Bachelors Degree in IT or related technical field is required. 3-5 years of PC and computer systems/network experience. 1 year of actual Internet/Intranet web design and development experience is required. Must have strong organizational, planning and project management skills. A proven customer service focused mode of operation. Familiar with Windows XP, SQL Server, environment, C, C++, Perl, Java scripting, VB scripting, ASP, MS Access, IIS. Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, .Net, SQL databases, Dreamweaver, operation and system administration required. Should also be familiar with Internet standards such as HTML, MIME, HTTP, URL. Strong communication (written and oral) skills are required.
