Vice President of Patient Care Services
Position Information The Vice President of Patient Care Services will be responsible for the executive direction of the surgical services division with oversight of the 12 bed - main operating room, PACU and ambulatory surgery departments, as well as the post-operative surgical units and the burn center, with an annual volume of over 20,000 cases. Qualified candidates will be pursuing or currently possess a master’s degree, have previous management experience, and have been responsible for overseeing multiple departments. Strong leaders with excellent business and leadership skills will be ideal candidates. Dedication to quality outcomes essential for the success of this Vice President. Pediatric experience a plus. Hospital Information Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH) is a 280-bed, Joint Commission accredited, non-profit, private hospital, has many one-of-a-kind pediatric specialists, and is the only pediatric hospital in Arkansas, serving children from birth to age 21. ACH is also one of the largest pediatric hospitals in the United States boasting an internationally renowned reputation for intensive treatments, unique procedures, and forward-thinking research. The staff consists of more than 500 physicians and a 3,500 member support staff. The campus spans 26 city blocks and has floor space totaling over 1,200,000 square feet. In the last year, the emergency room, outpatient, and specialty clinics had more than 250,000 visits, not only from Arkansas, but throughout the world.
