We are currently seeking an Vice President of Internal Audit at our International Headquarters in McLean, VA. This position reports to the Senior Vice President Internal Audit and will assist with the audit plan development and risk assessment. This person will: plan audits both at the community level and at corporate headquarters to assess internal control design and effectiveness, as well as, ensure compliance with standard accounting practices and corporate accounting policies; coordinate the annual Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) attestation work with the Senior Director of SOX Compliance; and supervise, train and develop manager, supervisor and senior auditors. Requirements include: Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting and 10+ years of experience in internal audit or public accounting. CPA or CIA required. Excellent communication skills. Strong project management skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
