Vascular Technologist Full-time, days Reporting to the Chief Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, the selected candidate will use high frequency sound waves and other diagnostic techniques for medical diagnosis; interpret ultrasound images and other imaging modalities as they relate to ultrasound correlation to be used by physicians for diagnoses; provide written or verbal reports of findings; obtain patient histories and other required information; and interact with patients in a professional, caring manner. This position is also responsible for performing non-invasive vascular tests and vein therapy exams. Expect to attend vascular rounds when departmental schedule allows. Candidates must be familiar with medical, radiological, sonographic and Doppler terminology, and possess excellent ultrasound scanning skills.
